Our Story
Attune Media Labs is a public benefit corporation that creates virtual companions to help ameliorate the epidemic of loneliness. Our virtual companions, called MiMs, mimic human consciousness and are able to empathize with users through a patented technology that combines generative AI with non-verbal emotion recognition software and evidence-based relational psychology.
MiM
MiMs are designed to be companions, not therapists. They are not there to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. However, they can provide companionship, support, and a listening ear to those who are feeling lonely or isolated.
MiMs are available 24/7 and can be accessed through a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers. They are also available in a variety of languages, making them accessible to people around the world.

About Founding Team
Robert Bosnak, PsyA President
Robbie is a world-renowned Jungian psychoanalyst and the creator of the Embodied Imagination method, a groundbreaking approach to working with dreams and imagination that is taught and practiced worldwide. As a faculty member at Upstate Medical University and past president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, he has made significant contributions to the field of psychoanalysis. He is also a prolific author, with 6 books translated into 12 languages. In addition to his academic achievements, Robert is a popular TikTok influencer with over 70k followers. He has been at the forefront of innovation in psychology since 1997 when he began working on computer-assisted therapy at the MIT Media Lab.
David Bosnak, MSc CEO
David is what happens when an engineer's precision meets an artist's passion. He has studied engineering with Noble laureates and acting with Anthony Hopkins. He’s built electrical substations, houses, integrated circuit chips, and theatre companies. A PMP-certified project manager with engineering degrees from George Washington (BS E.E.), USC (MS Mat.E.), and even time at Oxford, just for good measure. With extensive experience in LLMs, virtual agents, engineering, project management, and business development, David’s been managing innovation at startups and enterprise companies for decades.
